Important – the new barrels are for the latest style front sights, with a screwed on base rather than the front sights dovetailed directly into the barrel – If the rifle is an 1894C it should already be this style. If it is the older style (1894CS), then a mod to the mag tube will be required to move the band (easy to do, and will be included), and a new front sights will need to be purchased if these are used.
