Mounted using one screw, this Dovetail Mount Ramp could be the answer you are looking for. When extra height is needed for a front sight, having a “ramp” streamlines the look of the rifle, creates less of a “snag” opportunity, and beautifies the rifle.
With a dovetail cut into the barrel, our unique (nothing else quite like it) dovetail insert fits the slot and the ramp “nests” down over it, then fastened in place with a single hidden screw.
Available in two heights (.100″ & .225″). Made from solid steel with a blue finish.
Available for barrel contours .625″, .687″, .875″ and FLAT (for Octagon Barrels) (Flat only available in .100″ height.)
Heights are measured from the top of the barrel to the bottom of the ramp sight dovetail.
These ramps accept any nominal 3/8″ dovetailed front sight. We have BLADES, BEADS, and FIBER OPTICS.
